This Old Kitchen is in My House

The tape measure and the money in the flower pot was for an ad. My house is a 1906 home and the icebox you see to the right (now a soup cabinet and part of a refridgerator surround) was in tact with a little door for the iceman on an uninsulated back porch next to the pantry. The kitchen was about 8 x 7 and the pantry was about 5 x7. With Knob and tube electric running along side gas pipes (with gas still in them) to lights, it was more than soon enough for a kitchen remodel. The glass doored cabinets are installed over windows, Granite countertops, stone chimney, slate floor, and a corian apron sink are some of the features that draw attention to this kitchen.
